Starting off the New Year

First Photo of 2012!

It’s time for the belated New Year’s post! I’ll try and keep it short, since I’m fairly certain i remember writing this before, and then i guess I lost it..oops! My New Year’s was pretty low-key. Everyone is always all about partying on NYE, like it’s the most special party night of the year. And for some, it is. Even the cleaning lady at work chided me for not having nye plans ‘you’re young, you should go out dancing’ but it’s best sometimes to leave it to the drunkies and amateurs. Friday night, after a busy but calm day at work, I spent playing quiz video games with Roomie and his bf. The last day of 2011 dawned sunny and warm. While i did errands, i didn’t even need a coat! Great end to a pretty good year! Roomie was away djing, so his bf, who was visiting for the weekend and I went to a nice dinner and had some super yummy corn fritters. Then we watched a movie at home. Peaceful, and i didn’t regret not going out in the slightest. For new year’s day, when the bff came back, the three of us went out to a couple clubs, calm not crazy. Monday was peaceful walking and exploring and eating, and back to work for a new year. Here are the first photos of 2012… Can’t wait to see how the rest of it goes!
