Club Haute Opens April 8th!
Do you live in the bay area? Do you like house music? How bout fashion? Or both? Then you need to mark your calendar down to come to Haute on April 8th at Club Eight (1151 Folsom St. SF). In addition, there are acrobats, go-go dancers, drink specials, and of course the most important – some really great house music! DJ Tristan Jaxx will be spinning the main part of the night, and as I’ve already posted earlier today, he has some awesome songs. I would think that even if he were not my best friend. DJ Tristan Jaxx’s First Demo: From the Ashes

Guaranteed to cheer me up, calm me down, or make my gym experience an awesome one. Jealous? You should be! But wait! DJ Tristan Jaxx is up and coming, so he may be djing one day at a place near you! Especially if you happen to be in San Francisco, where we live. Until then, you can get by with his demos. Here is the first one, called From the Ashes. Dj Tristan Jaxx at Wunderland
I was looking forward to this past Saturday night. One reason is I hadnt had the chance to go out dancing for a while, but also, because my very best friend, DJ Tristan Jaxx, was going to be djing. One of our “same person” aspects is a almost the same taste in music. Because of this, he loads up my ipod for me and I always know all the good mixes of all the best songs. Better than listening on the ipod, is listening in the club. The club night in question was Wunderland, which is generally fun anyway. We were in a new space, on 11th and Folsom, which was so cute. It was a little warehouse, nice and dark, the way I like it, with great laser lights. … Read entire article »

Kylie Minogue’s Boombox Review on Outimpact
I was asked to write a review of Kylie Minogue’s new album Boombox. I was a little scared, because her music is normally too “gay” for me, but it was better than I thought. Here is the link to the review over on OutImpact. Plus, Kylie is an awesome woman, from what I’ve seen on interviews and such. http://www.outimpact.com/entertainment/music-entertainment/album-reviews/kylie-minogue-boombox-1779 … Read entire article »
